erm.. i'm back to post in this rusty blog! hahahaha...

sorry for all the missing posts for the month of may.. it's been an incredibly eventful month for me.. the few main ones are..
birthday surprises, celebrations
syf
sov

actually i'm not sure whether i wanna go into details for everything..haha.. will be super long-winded.. we'll see..haha..

so..on my birthday (okay.. dat's like... 1mth n 2days ago..lol) had 2 great surprises =) the first one was from my darling PAIKIAS- kelly, sinee, xiuyi, wee, yumi =D e idea quite cute lahh.. they got ramdom ppl to give me random gifts, all kinda packet food from the canteen, n wish me happy bday.. at 1st felt quite weird.. coz e 1st thing i got was a banana with "we love you!!" written on it when i stepped into LT5 -_- then there were the greentea packet, cheesebites, pandan cake, HL choc milk.. thanks darlings though none of u admitted dat they are from you guys.. haha..

had choir prac dat day so as we were having warm-up outside pt.. noticed dis bunch of ppl crowding ard outside the photocopying shop.. den i realize it was the s39 peeps -.- almost gave me a heart attack can.. coz they were waving this huge PINK board with "francesca wo ai ni" on it -_- so went to find them n at the reverse side of the board is full of sweet msgs from everyone in the class, every single member of s39 =D when i get hold of the photo den i post it up THANKS WOOSH 06S39 PEEPS for the surprise!!!

then i went out for dinner with my family n only got home at 11plus.. was super tired n was abt to jump onto my bed n snore away when my mum said sth really weird n out of the blues..

mum: " you sleeping now?"
me: " soon.. really tired.."
mum: " you sure? will ur frens come find u?"
me: " huh? what you mean?"
she gave an awkward smile n disappeared into the bathroom

juz as i was puzzling over what she said, my phone rang n the screen shows "zhaoting calling.." that's when i suddenly understood what my mum was talking abt.. they planned me a surprise!!
so i rushed down n the only person i saw was zhao, holding onto a 7/11 plastic bag containing a bottle of pi pa gao.. so sweet of her coz she knew syf was coming n i was having a bad throat =D

she suggested going up to the rooftop of the clubhse to see stars.. was surprised i din see the whole gang of ppl which i kinda expected.. but when i saw 2 heads popping out at the rooftop while we were heading there, i immediately guessed they were all hiding there!!! so i started questioning zhao..lol.. e poor gal was speechless.. the path they wanted me to take had tea lights placed in a few locations, telling where to walk.. really cool n magical coz everywhere was dark n only those lil tea lights guided our way=)

what i 1st saw was an apple strudel that was ON FIRE.. hahahaha.. damn funny.. so i quickly blew out the flames with help from the rest.. n what i saw was an apple strudel with a burnt top layer..-_- LOL.. but later they told me they actually used those sparkler candles that's suppose to turn out really beautiful.. but they lighted them too early..hahah.. so they burnt out n started burning e strudel..lol!!

den the 2 guys, zixuan n felix lighted a whole row of sparklers that they taped to the parapet.. a pity i din capture the sight coz it was really beautiful thought it only lasted for a couple of minutes (=

later i found out they actually waited almost 3 hrs at the rooftop for me to come home o.O really sorry guys!! here's some other photos taken on 6th may, when i treated them to dinner at the giraffe restaurant near ps (:

as for syf.. we got gwh.. =D well deserved after all the hard work n scoldings from various ppl.. shant elaborate anymore coz everyone else had already blogged about it ages ago.. lol.. can always click on one of their links to read abt it =) (anyway, vj clinched 4gwh n 3golds this yr for all performing arts xD)

SOV WAS A BLAST!! though i feel that we aint as prepared as last yr coz we only had 1 wk to put everything together after syf.. but i feel we did a pretty decent job(: one song that moved many that night was the jap piece: Hana, which was also 1 of our syf choice piece.. (:

we only had abt 10 min to change into our 2nd half costume as VC took the stage.. e guys changed backstage n each tiny changing room had abt 10 gals squashed inside frantically changing out of our gowns n into our student costume.. lol.. guess it was quite a hilarious sight for the VC ppl to see us rushing in n out, tugging at our costumes..haha.. anyway.. we shared the same corridor with the phantom cast.. n their costumes were all hung in racks along the corridors so we actually got to SEE all the elaborated n gorgeous costumes used in the musical xD was damn excited coz any time we might run into them..haha.. but what i realize is.. without their costumes n makeup we cant really tell whether they are part of the cast or not..lol.. oh wells.. but it was still really cool to be able to see the colourful n elaborated costumes n wigs n masks up close(:

THANKS TO ALL VJCHOIR MEMBERS.. both yr1s n yr2s for making my journey in vjchoir such a smooth-sailing n memorable one.. will definitely miss you guys!! >.< to those going pattaya to compete, JIA YOU!!! really sorry for not being able to be there with you all but i'm sure you all will do us proud(: no stress k!!
